What more can you expect...

So after today there have been a major change that I am not so sure about... Ok so first on my list is the swelling feet. I didn't experience this with Aubrey so feeling the extra width on my feet is not fun! I mean now really I am stuck with sandals, aka flip flops... there is always room to grow with flip flops. Anything with a tie is almost all out, they don't even stretch far enough at this point. Looks like I am shoe shopping sooner than I planned. (Ok well I never planned on that... dang just one more thing to add to that rusty old budget). :)

And then a while back I read another pregnant mom's blog and she mentioned a wonderful restaurant that she craved one particular evening and she and her husband went out at 10:30 in the evening to settle that craving. So taking off from that. Once I read the name of that illustrious restaurant, I too then was craving it... unlike her, I was unable to attend that restaurant because it was past closing... and then with Don's school and work we were just unable to get it for a while. Ok, so we have now established that pregnant women get cravings, I ramble on to tell you all that they have only gotten worse with the second child I am holding within me. Alas there was another craving that was settled, but this one is well worth the report. :) Back when I was just fresh out of high school, I was introduced to a wonderful dessert place called Ben's Cookies... (of which I can't find a picture but click here for their website.) They bake their cookies fresh daily and when they come out of the oven, the place them on a warming table, so that when you get your cookie it is as though it is just out of the oven. Also your cookies can sit out for a couple of days out of the bag and they are still soft...(known from personal experience.) Anywho... the other night I wanted one of Ben's Cookies. Alas it was 9:30pm and the only store they have is in Salt Lake at the Gateway. So no cookies for me. :(

On my way home from work... since I work in Salt Lake, it just so happens that it is on my way home, (insert the biggest grin here!) Alas my craving was conquered... and yes Teddy there is one left for you. :)

What a great day!

lol I love it! I've had my share of swollen feet. Best thing is to get those flip flop style slippers. I'm telling you there is nothing better: soft, fluffy, perfect! Is Ben's Cookies that place we went with you to at Gateway? If so YUM!
